Policy communication with the evidence attached
Publishing a policy is easy. Proving that every affected employee saw it, on a given date, is the part that fails an audit. Nuntivo makes the second part a by-product of the first.
Where policy communication falls apart
Not in the writing. In the distribution, and in what remains of it six months later.
Publishing is not communicating
A new policy uploaded to the intranet has been published. Whether anyone read it is a separate question, and the intranet has no answer to it.
Attestations are collected by hand
Chasing signatures by email, spreadsheet and reminder is a job in itself, and the result is a file no one trusts.
The audit comes later
The question is never asked on the day you publish. It is asked eight months on, by someone who wants a list of names and dates.
Publish, acknowledge, archive — in one action
The acknowledgement is not a separate process bolted on afterwards. It is part of the display.
Target exactly who the rule applies to
A rule that concerns purchasing should not be acknowledged by the whole company: that dilutes the record. Target the directory group or OU, and the evidence stays meaningful.
Make the acknowledgement mandatory
The close button stays disabled until the box is ticked, with a label you write yourself — "I have read and accept the code of conduct" rather than a generic OK.
Export the record when asked
Recipients, display time per workstation and acknowledgements are kept and exportable. The compliance file is assembled from data, not from memory.
A policy notice with mandatory acknowledgement
The label on the acknowledgement is yours to write — it is what the record will say.
What compliance teams broadcast
Each one leaves a record without a spreadsheet.
- New or updated policy
- Pop-up with a custom acknowledgement label, targeted at the population the policy binds, with a deadline in the wording.
- Regulatory deadline
- Ticker for the whole period, pop-up with acknowledgement in the final week. Declarations, training windows, certification renewals.
- Data protection reminder
- Short recurring notice on handling personal data, targeted at the teams that actually process it.
- Mandatory training call
- Pop-up with the link and the deadline, repeated only to the people who have not yet acknowledged.
Frequently asked questions
Is an on-screen acknowledgement legally equivalent to a signature?
It is not an electronic signature and we do not present it as one. It is a timestamped, per-workstation record that the notice was displayed and explicitly acknowledged — which is what most internal compliance and audit processes actually ask for. For binding signatures, keep your signature tool.
Can we re-send only to people who have not acknowledged?
Yes. The dispatch report shows acknowledgement status, and a follow-up can be targeted at the remaining group rather than the whole population.
Who can see the acknowledgement data?
Access follows the same team-scoped permission model as the rest of the platform, so a compliance officer sees their perimeter and not someone else's.
